Important: By completing a reservation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with all policies and terms set forth herein.
Payment Policy
- Debit & Credit Cards Only: Cash is not accepted. Guests must adhere to the Credit Card Policy on the day of the rental.
Reservations
- Check-In: Guests are required to check in 20 minutes before their scheduled reservation time to complete waivers and receive equipment instruction. If guests do not check in 20 minutes early, The Wharf cannot guarantee the scheduled time. We will make every effort to accommodate guests, but full rental time is not guaranteed for late arrivals.
Rental Requirements
- Guest Operating Requirements:
- Boater's license required for operators born after January 1, 1999.
- Operators must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license.
- Physical driver's licenses are required at check-in; photos of licenses will not be accepted.
- Guest Paying for Rental Requirements:
- Guest must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license.
- Physical driver's licenses or ID are required at check-in; photos of licenses will not be accepted.
- The physical card(s) used for the reservation must be presented at check-in (name on the card must match the ID).
- A $5.00 fee applies to the credit card if paying with a debit card. See Credit Card Policy
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Up to 3 Days Before Reservation: Cancel for any reason up to 3 days before your reservation for a full refund, minus 5% to cover our 3, 2, 1 cancellation protection.
- Example: For a 1-hour Jet Ski rental at $159.00, 5% is $7.95.
- Note: If your reservation is on a Saturday, cancellations must be made by Wednesday before 7 pm. Voicemail must be left before 7:00 pm if we do not answer.
- 2 Days Before Reservation: Cancellations made 2 days before your reservation will incur a 50% deposit hold.
- Example: For a 1-hour Jet Ski rental at $159.00, 50% is $79.50.
- Note: If your reservation is on a Saturday, cancellations must be made by Thursday before 7 pm. Voicemail must be left before 7:00 pm if we do not answer.
- 1 Day Before or Day of Reservation: Cancellations made 1 day before your reservation will result in a 100% deposit hold. No refund will be provided.
- Example: If your reservation is on a Saturday, cancelling on Friday results in no refund.
Rescheduling Policy
- Up to 3 Days Before Reservation: Rescheduling requests made up to 3 days before your reservation are complimentary for the first change. Any subsequent rescheduling will incur a fee of 5% of the deposit.
- Example: For a 1-hour Jet Ski rental at $159.00, 5% is $7.95.
- Note: If your reservation is on a Saturday, rescheduling must be made by Wednesday before 7 pm. Voicemail must be left before 7:00 pm if we do not answer.
- Within 3 Days: Rescheduling requests made within 3 days of your reservation will be subject to our cancellation policy.
Late Return Policy
- Late Fee: Rentals returned after the scheduled time will incur a $100 fee for every 10 minutes late.
Weather Policy
- Hourly and Multi-Hour Rentals: If The Wharf determines that conditions are unsafe due to weather before departure, guests will receive a 100% refund minus 5% to cover our 3, 2, 1 cancellation protection. Windy, overcast, cloudy, or cold weather predictions do not apply. The Wharf has both Northern and Southern Departure Docks to accommodate safe departures in various wind conditions. Once guests depart the dock, they are financially bound to their reserved rental time.
Delivery Policy
- Delivery Service: Available for rental periods of 3 days or more. Due to insurance policies, guests are not permitted to haul motorized equipment. All boats and waverunners must be picked up via water or scheduled for delivery. Complimentary delivery is offered to public ramps within 30 minutes of The Wharf. Additional fees apply for Direct to Dock service and delivery beyond this radius.
Pet Policy
- Pets: Dogs are allowed. There is a fee of $60.00 for dogs under 25 lbs and $100.00 for dogs over 25 lbs. Dogs may not be left unattended in vehicles. An additional $100 cleaning fee applies for excessive messes. Guests will be financially responsible for any damage caused by their pets. Service dogs are welcome free of charge.
Capacity Policy
- Passenger Limits: Guests must adhere to the maximum number of passengers listed for each boat. No exceptions will be made. Every person on board, including infants, counts towards this limit as per Federal USCG Law.
Fuel Policy
- Additional Fuel: Guests are responsible for additional fuel costs beyond the original tank included in the rental price.
Damage and Missing Equipment Policy
Equipment Condition Documentation
- Digital Inspections: We use the Record360 app to document equipment’s condition before every rental. Hosts will take clear photos and videos of any existing scratches, wear and damage.
- Time‑Stamped Records: The inspection report is time-stamped, geo located and securely stored in the cloud.
- Transparency and Fairness: This documented record ensures there is no confusion about pre‑existing damage. It protects you from unfair charges and protects us from covering damage we didn’t cause.
Equipment Damage Pricing Structure
- Pontoon and Runabout Boats: Damage will be assessed and quoted by Long Lake Marina, LLC in Naples, Maine. Charges will be passed directly to the guests. The Wharf reserves the right to charge for lost rental days until equipment is repaired and back in service.
- Mechanical Issues: Mechanical issues caused by guests (e.g., removing articles from the prop) will incur a labor rate of $150 per hour.
- Jet Skis: Damage to the fiberglass of the unit will incur a $100 charge per square inch if not punctured through, and $150 per square inch if punctured. The Wharf reserves the right to charge for lost rental days until equipment is repaired and back in service.
- Other Equipment: The cost of repairs or replacement will be assessed based on the extent of damage.
- Missing Equipment: Guests will be charged the replacement cost for any missing equipment.
H207 Wake Academy
- Note: Dingley's Wharf, LLC leases a slip to H207 Wake Academy, LLC for all Wake & Ski Academy activities. H207 Wake Academy is not owned, operated, or affiliated with Dingley's Wharf, LLC.
- Cancellations and Refunds: Please refer to our 3,2, 1 Cancellation policy at the top, with 100% refund minus 5% to cover our 3, 2, 1 cancellation protection for weather-related cancellations when rescheduling is not possible.
- Pets: Pets are not allowed at this time.
Safety and Conduct Policy
- Substance Use: Individuals under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol are not permitted to operate or participate in activities. If a group cancels due to this policy, 100% of the deposit will be forfeited.
- Reckless Behavior: Guests must operate equipment responsibly and in accordance with all laws and provided training. The Wharf reserves the right to terminate a rental immediately for reckless or unsafe behavior, with no refund.
