Our Flexible CANCELLATION Protection

We understand that plans can change and weather can be unpredictable. That’s why we offer a hassle-free flexible cancellation policy designed with you as priority.


Flexible Cancellation Policy

  • Up to 3 Days in Advance: Cancel for any reason up to three days before your reservation and receive a full refund, minus a 5% fee to cover your Flexible Cancellation Protection.
     
    • Example: For a $159 jet ski rental, the 5% fee is $7.95.
       
    • For Saturday rentals, cancellations must be made by the Wednesday before 7 pm (must leave a voicemail if we don’t answer).
       
  • 2 Days in Advance: Cancelling two days before your booking means we keep 50% of your deposit.
     
    • Example: For a $159 rental, we retain $79.50.
       
    • For Saturday rentals, cancel by Thursday before 7 pm (must leave a voicemail).
       
  • Day Before or Same Day: Cancelling the day before or on the day of your booking results in a 100% deposit hold—no refund will be provided.
     
    • Example: For a Saturday booking, cancelling on Friday means no refund.

Credit Card Policy

  • We do not charge a security deposit or place a hold on your funds, but we do require a credit card on file to cover any incidental damages.
     
  • If you pay for your rental with a debit card, a non-refundable $5.00 fee will be charged to the credit card on file. You may pay for your rental fully with a credit card to avoid this fee. 


  • If you do not provide a credit card on the day of your reservation, we will cancel your rental and charge a 50% cancellation fee on all rented items.

By finalizing a booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to all policies below.


Rental Eligibility


Guest Operating Requirements:

  • Boater's license required for operators born after January 1, 1999.
  • Operators must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license.
  • Physical driver's licenses are required at check-in; photos of licenses will not be accepted.


Guest Paying for Rental Requirements:

  • Guest must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license.
  • Physical driver's licenses or ID are required at check-in; photos of licenses will not be accepted.
  • The physical credit card used for the reservation must be presented at check-in (name on the card must match the ID).
  • A $25.00 fee applies if paying with a debit card.


Payment


  • Debit & Credit Cards Only: We do not accept cash. Debit card payments require a valid credit card to be presented and held on file on the day of rental. A $5.00 processing fee associated with debit card use will be charged to the credit card on file. Credit Card Policy


Deliveries


  • Delivery Option: Available for rentals of three days or more. We deliver to public ramps within 20 miles of The Wharf for free; fees apply for extended ranges or direct-to-dock service. For insurance reasons, renters cannot transport motorized equipment themselves. Drop Offs are between 8:30 am - 10:30 am. Pick Ups are between 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm.


Arrivals/Check-In


  • Check-In: Guests are required to check in 20 minutes before their scheduled reservation time to complete waivers and receive equipment instruction. If guests do not check in 20 minutes early, The Wharf cannot guarantee the scheduled time. We will make every effort to accommodate guests, but full rental time is not guaranteed for late arrivals.


Rescheduling


  • 3+ Days Before: You may change your reservation once without a fee if you do so at least three days in advance. Additional changes will cost 5% of your deposit.
     
  • Within 3 Days: Rescheduling within three days follows the same terms as our cancellation policy.


Late Returns


  • Late Fee: There is a $100 charge for every 10 minutes you return past your scheduled time.


Damage & Missing Equipment


  • Documentation: We use the Record360 app to document the condition of all equipment before each rental.
     
  • Pontoon and Runabout Boats: Damage will be assessed and quoted by Long Lake Marina, LLC in Naples, Maine. Charges will be passed directly to the guests. The Wharf reserves the right to charge for lost rental days until equipment is repaired and back in service.
  • Mechanical Issues: Mechanical issues caused by guests (e.g., removing articles from the prop) will incur a labor rate of $150 per hour.
  • Jet Skis: Damage to the fiberglass of the unit will incur a $100 charge per square inch if not punctured through hull, and $150 per square inch if punctured. The Wharf reserves the right to charge for lost rental days until equipment is repaired and back in service.
  • Other Equipment: The cost of repairs or replacement will be assessed based on the extent of damage.
  • Missing Equipment: Guests will be charged the replacement cost for any missing equipment.


Weather


  • Unsafe Conditions: If The Wharf determines that conditions are unsafe due to weather before departure, guests will receive a 100% refund minus 5% to cover your Flexible Cancellation Protection. Windy, overcast, cloudy, or cold weather predictions do not apply. The Wharf has both Northern and Southern Departure Docks to accommodate safe departures in various wind conditions. Once guests depart the dock, they are financially bound to their reserved rental time. (Excludes Multi Day Reservations)


Capacity


  • Passenger Limits: Guests must adhere to the maximum number of passengers listed for each boat. No exceptions will be made. Every person on board, including infants, counts towards this limit as per Federal USCG Law.


Pets


  • Dogs Are Welcome: There’s a $60 fee for dogs under 25 lbs and $100 for dogs over 25 lbs. Pets cannot be left in vehicles, and an extra $100 cleaning fee applies for excessive mess. Renters are responsible for any damages. Service dogs are allowed at no cost.


Fuel


  • Additional Fuel: Guests are responsible for additional fuel costs beyond the original tank included in the rental price.


Safety & Conduct


  • Substance Use: Anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol cannot participate. If your group is turned away for this reason, your entire deposit will be forfeited.
     
  • Reckless Behavior: Unsafe or irresponsible operation will result in immediate termination of the rental with no refund.Safety & Conduct

Pet PolICIES

🐾  Fees: $60 for dogs under 25 lbs; $100 for dogs over 25 lbs.

🐾  A $100 cleaning fee will apply if your dog leaves an excessive mess requiring deep cleaning.

🐾  Dogs must be leashed at The Wharf at all times. 

🐾  We highly recommend flotation jackets for dogs of any size or breed.

🐾  The guest responsible for the rental will be liable for any damage caused by their dog.

🐾  Service Dogs are always welcome aboard free of charge.
