Our Flexible CANCELLATION Protection

We understand that plans can change and weather can be unpredictable. That’s why we offer a hassle-free flexible cancellation policy designed with you as priority.


Flexible Cancellation Policy

  • Up to 3 Days in Advance: Cancel for any reason up to three days before your booking and receive a full refund, minus a 5% fee to cover our Flexible Cancellation Protection.
     
    • Example: For a $159 jet ski rental, the 5% fee is $7.95.
       
    • For Saturday rentals, cancellations must be made by the Wednesday before 7 pm (must leave a voicemail if we don’t answer).
       
  • 2 Days in Advance: Cancelling two days before your booking means we keep 50% of your deposit.
     
    • Example: For a $159 rental, we retain $79.50.
       
    • For Saturday rentals, cancel by Thursday before 7 pm (must leave a voicemail).
       
  • Day Before or Same Day: Cancelling the day before or on the day of your booking results in a 100% deposit hold—no refund will be provided.
     
    • Example: For a Saturday booking, cancelling on Friday means no refund.

Credit Card Policy

  • We do not charge a deposit or place a hold on your funds, but we do require a credit card on file to cover any incidental damages.
     
  • If you pay for your rental with a debit card, a non-refundable $5.00 fee will be charged to the credit card on file. You may pay for your rental fully with a Credit Card to avoid this fee. 


  • If you do not provide a credit card on the day of your reservation, we will cancel your rental and charge a 50% cancellation fee on all rented items.

Rental POLICIES

Reservation Acknowledgement
By finalizing a booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to all policies below.


Rental Eligibility


  • Operators/Captains: Must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver’s license, and—if born after Jan 1, 1999—hold a boater’s license.
     
  • Payment Provider: Must also be at least 18 with a valid driver’s license or ID. The physical card used for the reservation must match the ID presented at check-in. Photos of ID or cards are not accepted.


Payment


  • Debit & Credit Cards Only: We do not accept cash. A credit card must be presented on the day of your rental, even if you pay with a debit card. A $5.00 fee applies if you pay by debit card (see Credit Card Policy for details).


Deliveries


  • Delivery Option: Available for rentals of three days or more. We deliver to public ramps within 20 miles of The Wharf for free; fees apply for extended ranges or direct-to-dock service. For insurance reasons, renters cannot transport motorized equipment themselves. We deliver between 8:30 am - 10:30 am.


Arrivals


  • Check-In Time. Please arrive 20 minutes before your reservation to complete waivers and receive instructions. If you arrive late, we’ll try to fit you in, but your full rental time is not guaranteed.


Rescheduling


  • 3+ Days Before: You may change your reservation once without a fee if you do so at least three days in advance. Additional changes will cost 5% of your deposit.
     
  • Within 3 Days: Rescheduling within three days follows the same terms as our cancellation policy.

Late Returns


  • Late Fee: There is a $100 charge for every 10 minutes you return past your scheduled time.


Damage & Missing Equipment


  • Documentation: We use the Record360 app to document the condition of all equipment before each rental.
     
  • Pricing:
     
    • Boats: Damage is assessed by Long Lake Marina in Naples, Maine; lost rental days may be charged until repairs are complete.
       
    • Mechanical Issues: Labor is billed at $150/hour for guest-caused issues (e.g. removing objects from propellers).
       
    • Jet Skis: Fiberglass damage is $100 per square inch (or $150 per square inch if punctured), plus potential lost rental days.
       
    • Other Equipment: Costs will reflect the severity of damage or replacement needed.
       
    • Missing Items: Replacement costs apply.


Weather


  • Unsafe Conditions: If The Wharf determines the weather makes it unsafe to depart, you’ll receive a refund minus 5% of the rental cost (per the Flexible Cancellation Protection). Windy or overcast forecasts alone do not qualify for weather-related cancellations. Once you leave the dock, you’re responsible for the full rental time (Excludes Multi Day Rentals).


Capacity


  • Passenger Limits: The maximum passenger count listed for each boat is mandatory—this includes infants—per U.S. Coast Guard regulations.


Pets


  • Dogs Are Welcome: There’s a $60 fee for dogs under 25 lbs and $100 for dogs over 25 lbs. Pets cannot be left in vehicles, and an extra $100 cleaning fee applies for excessive mess. Renters are responsible for any damages. Service dogs are allowed at no cost.


Fuel


  • Extra Fuel: You pay for any fuel beyond what’s included in your rental.


H207 Wake Academy


  • Separate Entity: Dingley's Wharf, LLC leases a slip to H207 Wake Academy, LLC for all Wake & Ski Academy activities. H207 Wake Academy is not owned, operated, or affiliated with Dingley's Wharf, LLC.


  • Cancellation: It follows the same Flexible Cancellation Protection.


  • Pets: Pets are not allowed at this time.


Safety & Conduct


  • Substance Use: Anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol cannot participate. If your group is turned away for this reason, your entire deposit will be forfeited.
     
  • Reckless Behavior: Unsafe or irresponsible operation will result in immediate termination of the rental with no refund.Safety & Conduct

Pet PolICIES

🐾  Fees: $60 for dogs under 25 lbs; $100 for dogs over 25 lbs.

🐾  A $100 cleaning fee will apply if your dog leaves an excessive mess requiring deep cleaning.

🐾  Dogs must be leashed at The Wharf at all times. 

🐾  We highly recommend flotation jackets for dogs of any size or breed.

🐾  The guest responsible for the rental will be liable for any damage caused by their dog.

🐾  Service Dogs are always welcome aboard free of charge.
