At The Wharf, we love sharing the excitement of being on the water. As a commercial operation, we recognize our responsibility—not only to our guests and fellow water enthusiasts but also to the environment. We continually look for ways to reduce our impact through yearly system upgrades and improvements. Below are some of the initiatives we’ve already implemented.
To protect the lake while keeping our vessels clean, we built a custom system that draws water directly from the lake to rinse our boats. This avoids bringing in outside contaminants and greatly reduces our impact on the waterway.
We’ve gone paperless to reduce waste and protect our waterways. Everything—from reservations and check‑in to waivers and damage inspections—is handled digitally.
Adopted in 2023, we went fully paperless by replacing our printed brochures with reusable QR codes on all marketing materials.
We invest in modern equipment to enhance our guests’ experience and reduce our environmental impact. At present, four‑stroke engines offer the best balance of efficiency and eco‑friendliness.
