Only for individuals looking to operate motorized equipment born after January 1st 1999. 

Passengers do not need any type of license. 

Starting January 1st 2024, the State of Maine will require any individual wanting to operate rented equipment to obtain a boaters license if the individual is born after January 1st 1999. 

If an individual is born before January 1st 1999, the individual is not required to obtain a license in order to operate motorized equipment. 

Already have a license?

There is no need for an additional license if you have previously acquired a NASBLA Approved license from another state.

• A BOATERS LICENSE FOR OPERATORS BORN AFTER JANUARY 1, 1999.
• You must be 18 with a valid U.S. Driver's License or Passport to rent any equipment. 
• You must have your physical U.S. Driver's License or Passport with you at the time of the rental for any motorized equipment. (Photos of Documents Will Not Be Accepted)
• You must have a credit card with you that is in your name (the name on the card must match your ID).
• A $25.00 Fee will be applied to the Credit Card on file if paying with a Debit Card.

• Complimentary Delivery to ramp for 3+ Day Rentals (Up to 30 minutes from Wharf)

We only accept Credit Cards. We do not accept cash or debit cards. This is to allow us to eliminate the need to hold a deposit on any of our guests bank cards. We do not require a deposit and believe this is the proper way to rent equipment. 

Our insurance requires our guests who would like to rent and/or operate be 18 years of age with a valid drivers license or passport. This includes all Boats and Waverunners.

Due to our insurance, we are not allowed to let guests tow equipment to their waterway of choice. We do offer complimentary delivery with a 3 day minimum rental up to 30 minutes away. 

Yes! 

All of our Pontoon Boats are equipped with a tow bar. We also include a complimentary tube with every rental. 

Yes! 

We love dogs. Dogs may only go on our Pontoon & Run About Rentals. 

Dogs are currently not allowed on the Wake & Ski Academy Boat or Jet Skis. 

There is a Furry Friend Fee of $60 per dog up to 25 lbs. and $100 per dog over 25 lbs. 

Dogs are currently the only pet we allow on our vessels. 

Dogs must be on leash on the dock and wharf in order to make other guests feel comfortable.

Absolutely! You are more than happy to bring along food and drinks. 

Complimentary ice is available upon request! Just let your host know, and they are happy to assist you! 

We do not allow any cooking devices on board.
